"Sometimes, you just need a break, in a beautiful place, alone, to figure things out."
What Is A Rejuvenated Life?
A rejuvenated life is one that, for all intent and purpose, has gone from being stressed to being blessed by reviving and recharging in a way that provides you with a longer lasting, happy, healthy life-style. Think of it as an entire over-haul; from learning to manage stress to practicing self-care across the board.
The Journey of Life
Every living person, young or old, male or female, needs time to rest. Quite simply, albeit contrary to what many have been led to believe, the entire human race was created with an inner need for having some down-time. Taking advantage of this is not a luxury, and it is not – by any means – a form of self-indulgence or vanity. The plain truth is that without it, we damage ourselves, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The Consequences of lack
Many studies have been conducted, dating back as far as the mid 1940’s from what I have found, which prove – time and time again – that when we fail to provide ourselves with time to rest, relax, and recharge, we are actually harming ourselves. This harm shows up in multiple variations; from pre-mature aging to insomnia, digestive problems, headaches, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and more – the facts are all out there. The bottom line is that we all have one life and one body to live it in. No-one’s body is invincible, period.
How Do You Know If This Is For You?
The easiest way to decide if this is for you is by asking yourself a few simple questions:
- Do you feel drained at the end of the day?
- Do you get stress headaches?
- Do you experience mood-swings?
- Are you often filling-in for others – or doing what they needed to but didn’t do?
- Do you hit the snooze-button very often?
- Do you regularly plan time for yourself, just to relax?
- Are you frequently adding tasks to your plate, when you’ve not cleaned off what’s already on it?
- Do you sleep 7+ hours per night?
- Are you a people-pleaser?
- Does it bother you to tell others ‘no’?
- Do you skip meals, or ‘grab a bite on the go’ more than once per week?
If you answered yes to more than 3 of these, you will definitely find benefit in learning the process of having a rejuvenated life. If you answered yes to 5 or more, you are treading lightly on the grounds of need. And, if you answered yes to more than 7, this can dramatically change your life.
How Can A Rejuvenated Life Affect You?
On a personal level: Obviously, there is no blanket statement regarding how this affects you. In fact, only you can answer this question. What I can do, however, is provide you with the tools to tweak and improve the areas that need attention.
On a professional level: You can become a Certified Rejuvenation Specialist. Doing this provides you with the clout to offer your services to others; think of it, if you will, as a way of paying-it-forward. To discover the details of this possibility, check out the class page on this site.
